Etsy fee calculator
Type in an order and see what Etsy takes and what you keep. Uses Etsy's published US fees, checked on 26 October 2026.
Results appear here as you type. If nothing shows, JavaScript may be switched off.
How to use it
- Enter the item price, quantity and what you charge for shipping.
- If Etsy collected sales tax on the order, enter it: the processing fee is charged on it, but it isn't your income.
- Pick whether the sale came from an Offsite Ad. The table also shows the order at both Offsite Ads rates so you can compare.
- Add your item and shipping costs to see profit and margin. Leave them at 0 to see fees only.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or saved anywhere.

Questions
What are Etsy's fees for US sellers?
As checked on 26 October 2026: a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping and gift wrap, and Etsy Payments processing of 3% + $0.25 on the total sale including shipping and sales tax. If the sale came from an Offsite Ad, add 15% (or 12% once your shop has made $10,000 in a 365-day period), capped at $100 per order.
Does Etsy charge fees on shipping?
Yes. The 6.5% transaction fee applies to what you charge for shipping, and payment processing applies to the whole order including shipping. This calculator includes both.
Is the listing fee charged on every sale?
The $0.20 listing fee is charged when you publish or renew a listing. With auto-renew or multi-quantity listings, Etsy charges another $0.20 for each item sold, so this calculator counts $0.20 per item in the order.
Which Offsite Ads rate applies to me?
15% if your shop has always made less than $10,000 in any 365-day period (you can opt out). 12% once your shop has made $10,000 or more; then the ads are required for the life of the shop. The fee is only charged when an order is attributed to an Offsite Ad, and never more than $100 per order.
What isn't included?
Etsy Ads (on-site ads, your own daily budget), shipping labels bought on Etsy, currency conversion (2.5% if you list in a different currency from your bank account), regulatory operating fees in some countries, deposit fees and Etsy Plus. Processing rates outside the US are different.
Are these numbers exact?
They follow Etsy's published rates, rounded to the cent per fee. Etsy can change fees, and your Payment account is the final word. Check the source pages linked below if you need to be sure.
