How to use it
- Export your products: on Etsy, Shop Manager › Settings › Options › Download Data; on Shopify, Products › Export. Or save any spreadsheet as CSV.
- Load the file. We detect the format and pick the title, description and tags columns. Check them and change any that are wrong.
- Choose what to rewrite and a tone, then run the free demo on up to 25 rows.
- Read every row. Rows marked “check numbers” contain a number that wasn't in your original. Rows that failed keep their original text and aren't charged.
- Download the full CSV (Shopify import) or the changes-only file (Etsy).
Your file stays in your browser. Only the columns you pick (title, description, tags and any context columns) go to our server. They're rewritten by an AI model running on Cloudflare and aren't stored after the response comes back.
Limits we check: Etsy titles up to 140 characters and up to 13 tags of 20 characters; Shopify titles capped at 150 characters here, simple HTML descriptions and lowercase tags.

What does Catalog Cleaner do?
You upload a product CSV (an Etsy listing export, a Shopify product export or any spreadsheet saved as CSV). It rewrites the columns you pick (title, description and/or tags) with an AI model, checks each result against the platform's limits, and gives you a CSV back. Every other column stays exactly as it was.
Is the demo really free?
Yes. You can run up to 25 rows a day for free, with no key and no sign-up. The demo is limited per connection to keep it fair.
How do credits work?
1 credit = 1 product row that was rewritten successfully. Rows we can't fix (for example a title that won't fit the limit) aren't charged. The paid version includes 2,000 credits for $29, with top-ups of 1,000 credits for $9 and 5,000 for $24. Credits never expire. No subscription, and it's not unlimited: a balance can hold up to 50,000 credits.
Can I buy it yet?
Not yet. The paid version is coming soon. Until then, the free demo works.
Does Etsy let me import the CSV?
No. Etsy doesn't offer CSV import. For Etsy, use the “changes only” file and update your listings with Etsy's own editing tools or a listing tool you already use. Shopify can import the full CSV.
What happens to my file?
Your file stays in your browser. Only the columns you map (title, description, tags and any context column) are sent to our server, a few rows at a time. They're rewritten by an AI model running on Cloudflare and aren't stored after the response comes back.
Will it invent details?
It's told not to, and it can only use what's in each row. We also check the output: new links, emails or phone numbers fail the row, and any number that isn't in your original row is flagged so you can check it. It's still an AI draft, so read every row before you upload it.
Why does it sometimes say it's at capacity?
The AI has a fixed daily budget. When it's used up for the day, new rows are refused with a message and nothing is charged. It resets at midnight UTC.
Will this improve my sales or search ranking?
We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. It writes clearer, rule-checked titles, descriptions and tags faster than doing it by hand.
